Whisky is something that has always been around me; one of my enduring childhood memories is of my grandfather telling us stories while enjoying his evening dram of Glenfiddich 12. I never knew then that one day this golden spirit would become my true passion. This passion has taken me to many a bar, distillery, home and introduced me to wonderful people who make, serve and of course drink this wonderful spirit!
I’m a man with a really varied background. My curiosity to find new experiences and constantly change has taken me across various industries from tourism to engineering to hospitality. This journey and my travels have seen me living in and traveling across over 50 countries and 5 continents. I have also traveled to over a 100 distilleries and whisky experiences across India, Scotland, Ireland, the USA, Japan and more. My experience with fine food and spirits includes my time running several award winning restaurants, of which Savya Rasa in Pune was voted one of the Top 50 Restaurants in India by Conde Nast.

I am a Licensed Training Partner of the The Whisky Ambassador certification that I introduced to India in 2019 and am also India’s first Certified Executive Bourbon Steward. I hope to meet you, share a few drams, perhaps a few stories and a whisky experience you will remember for a long time to come.
